Written from the walkthrough real beta clinics use to onboard — with field notes from the operatory where they matter. Every workflow now comes with a narrated demo video.

Create a patient with just the basics, and get to know the profile hub — the page every other workflow hangs off.

  1. 1Open Patients from the sidebar and click New Patient.
  2. 2Enter only the basics — name, date of birth, and phone. Drop anything critical, like an allergy, into the Medical Alert.
  3. 3Save, then open the profile. This is the central hub: notes, health history, images, documents, treatment steps, billing, insurance, and referrals in one place.
  4. 4You don't have to fill in the history by hand — the next tutorial shows the AI importing it from the patient's old chart.

Export a patient's chart from your old software as a PDF, upload it, and let the AI move the history for you — demographics pre-filled, treatment history rewritten as a draft clinical note.

Speak a visit naturally and watch it become a properly structured, legal-grade clinical note — opening line, body, and consent closing included.

  1. 1Open a patient's notes and press the microphone.
  2. 2Speak the visit as a normal narrative — pause to think as long as you like; the recorder keeps listening.
  3. 3Press Format. The AI structures your dictation, normalizes tooth references to FDI numbering, and adds the standard opening and consent lines.
  4. 4Review and save. Notes lock after their edit window, and entries by non-clinicians are flagged for denturist review.

Upload a panoramic, periapical, bitewing, ceph, or CBCT image and get an interpretive analysis formatted for the chart.

  2. 2Upload one or more intraoral photos.
  3. 3Review the structured report — mucosa, ridges, frena, palate, tori, undercuts — formatted for the record.
  4. 4Dictate anything the camera can't see (buccal mucosa, tongue, throat, lymphatics) to round out the exam.

From an occlusal photo to three by-the-book framework options, a finished prescription, and a lab-ready PDF.

  1. 1Open the Partial Denture Designer.
  2. 2Upload the occlusal photo, plus optional buccal and anterior views.
  3. 3Compare the three design options — clasps, major connector, rests, retentive elements, and the rationale for each.
  4. 4Pick one as your starting point and modify any element you disagree with.
  5. 5Generate the lab prescription PDF; sending it is tracked on the patient record.

Create lab tasks, assign them, dispatch prescriptions to external labs, and keep return dates honest.

  1. 1Open Lab Workflow to see the pending / in progress / completed board.
  2. 2Add a lab task from any patient — set priority, assignee, due date, and attach digital files.
  3. 3Open the task and run AI Design Analysis: it reads the case and proposes frameworks by the book — Kennedy classification, major connector, rests and clasps, with the reasoning for each.
  4. 4Fill out a full lab prescription (arch type, denture type, shade, instructions) tied to the patient or task — each lab's own shipping and turnaround instructions travel with it.
  5. 5Move the task across the board as the bench works it. Completed tasks thread back into the patient's record automatically.

The Ontario guides come preloaded — pick a procedure and the professional and lab fees split out and total themselves on the patient's balance.

  2. 2Billing real patients in another province? Import your own guide from a PDF — the AI reads the fees straight out of it.
  3. 3Open a patient's Billing tab, add a charge, pick the guide, and search the procedure — fees fill in automatically.
  4. 4Record payments and verify the balance updates instantly; the Ledger gives the clinic-wide view.

Book, manage, and status appointments — and let missed visits chart themselves.

  1. 1Open Schedule for the day/week calendar and click any slot to book.
  2. 2Set duration and appointment type; click any appointment to manage it.
  3. 3Mark late, missed, or cancelled — each status auto-creates a locked note on the patient chart.
  4. 4Block off time for vacations or meetings with schedule blocks.

Stop handing out clipboards — text the patient a secure link and the health history fills itself in before they sit down.

  1. 1Open the patient's Health History tab and click Send to Patient.
  2. 2One click creates a secure link — it expires in 7 days and stops working once submitted. Copy it or text it straight to their phone.
  3. 3The patient taps through a guided form: about them, medical history, dental history, and how they found you.
  4. 4They submit — and it's already on the chart, structured and ready for the appointment. No typing, no transcription.

Referrals, reports, insurance responses, consents — file anything that arrives to the patient's chart, grouped by type and linked from a chart note.

  1. 1Open the patient's Documents tab — everything on file is grouped by type: referrals, reports, insurance responses, letters, prescriptions, consents.
  2. 2Pick the document type, give it a title, and choose the file. Add a line of context so future-you knows what it is.
  3. 3Tick "Add a chart note referencing this document" — the clinical record and the paperwork always agree.
  4. 4Upload. It's filed instantly — time-stamped, tagged with who uploaded it, and marked "in chart" with a locked note linked straight to the file.

Case complete? Send the referring dentist a proper completion report — the AI drafts it from the chart, dentist-to-dentist, in seconds.

A patient asks for their chart, or moves to another practice. One menu handles both — and the release records itself in the audit trail.

  1. 1Open the patient's chart and click Export Record. Front desk and denturist can do this; lab roles can't — releasing a chart is a records function.
  2. 2Choose the format by who's asking. Readable copy (PDF) for a patient requesting their own record. Structured data (JSON) for another system. Full transfer (ZIP) when the radiographs and documents need to travel too.
  3. 3The bundle is exhaustive, not curated — demographics, health history, treatment journey, every clinical note, appointments, charges, payments, images and documents.
  4. 4That's it. The export is already recorded in the audit trail with your name, the patient, the time and the IP address.
Field noteExport is not deletion. "Send us the chart and remove it" is two requests, and only the first can be honoured on the spot — record-retention rules outlive almost every deletion request, which is why there's no delete button on a chart.

Not a workflow so much as an answer — the one your patients, your College and your own due diligence all eventually ask for.

  1. 1The path: your browser reaches Cloudflare over TLS, which reaches the application on Google Cloud Run.
  2. 2Records live in managed Postgres. Radiographs, scans and documents live in Google Cloud Storage — encrypted at rest, and never given a public link. Every file request is checked against your clinic before it's served.
  3. 3The database, the file storage and Vertex AI are all provisioned in northamerica-northeast1 — Google's Montreal region — so patient records, radiographs and AI processing all stay inside Canada, on enterprise cloud terms rather than a consumer endpoint.
  4. 4Underneath: the second factor is checked before anything loads, sessions expire in eight hours, logins are rate limited, and every login, view, change and export lands in the audit trail.
Field noteThe AI is never allowed to sign anything. Attestations — "updated medical history", the consent sentence — are checkboxes you tick, and every AI prompt is explicitly barred from writing them. A model must not put words in a clinician's mouth about what they did with a patient.
